Family & Maternity Session
Herbert Park, Dublin
Spring 2025. A Family Morning to Remember.
It was just a regular morning.
Or at least, that’s what it looked like.
The sun was out, the park was calm, and we had no big plans — just the four of us: me, Lucas, Lucca and little Leo. We packed our things, got ready without rush, and headed to Herbert Park to see the Cherry Blossoms.
Nothing fancy. No balloons. No styled picnic.
Just us. And that was more than enough.
The last time we were there?
I was pregnant — 4 months in — and we were about to announce our pregnancy to the world. That day felt like magic. But this one…
this one felt even deeper.
Because 3 years later, we came back. And Leo was no longer in my belly — he was running around, laughing, chasing his brother.
And Lucca?
Well… our 6-year-old surprised us.
He took the camera, gave us directions, and snapped some photos that honestly made us tear up.
He saw us in ways even we forget to see.
That’s the beauty of it all.
That’s what family photography really is about.
It's not about perfect poses or matching clothes.
It’s about presence. Connection. Real moments.
It’s about freezing the laughter right before the fall at the playground.
It's about capturing your child’s gaze when they see you not just as “mom” or “dad” — but as them. The ones who hold it all together. The ones who play, laugh, run, and love without holding back.
And yes — we were the photographers. But that day?
That day we were just a family.
Living, playing, capturing the magic God has surrounded us with.
These sessions are not just for the photos.
They become living memories.
Moments you don’t just hang on a wall —
you carry in your heart.
So here’s a glimpse of what our Spring 2025 looked like.
Through our eyes. And Lucca’s lens.
Let’s just say… we might have a little artist in the family.
And we can’t wait to do it all over again.
